Let's Ride Bikes
It will be the fifth of September, the year twenty sixteen,I'm back visiting New England, it's so lush and so green!Labor Day is nearly here thereby signalling summer's unofficial end,(King Challenge is October 15, which is also just around the bend.)I took a poll seeing if there's interest to get together to go for a ride.I'm a stickler for cycling etiquette, I ask that you don't pedal more than two-wide.Black Friday we did one, as well as both the eves Christmas and New Years,With another holiday approaching, "Let's do it again" is met with cheers.The results poured in and it's a ride we will do!Riding from Exeter Cycles at 8:30am, we'll gather an early crew.Out to the coast, continuing north, and to Kittery, per normal,There's nothing official about this ride; it's entirely informal.Our destination Lil's is exquisite. If poetry isn't your thing, but you still want to go for a ride, we'll meet at Exeter Cycles this Monday morning, at 8:30am. It's Labor Day and it'll be awesome. Bring $5 (or more), we'll ride from Exeter, out to the coast, up to Lil's. I'll call in the order of crullers and coffee. We'll stay outside, soak up the sun, not bother the friendly patrons inside, and then be on our merry way. I stress safety. Ride smart, ride no more than two-abreast, be prepared for anything. We ride a zesty pace, but will hang out at Lil's for a while afterwards. From there, you're on your own.
