Born and raised in New England, I’ve been preaching the gospel of maple for years. Starting as a kid and then as a globe trotting professional cyclist, I would step off the team bus and literally be gifted bottles of pure maple syrup from North American friends and fans.
Knowing that maple syrup is one, pure ingredient and learning that maple syrup is an incredibly wholesome, nutritious ingredient, it didn’t take long before it was fueling my training rides and races.
In 2013, I teamed up with a Vermont cycling friend Andrew Gardner and the Cochran cousins, a prodigal family of alpine ski fame and who had recently launched their traditional maple syrup business, to collectively create UnTapped. We’re now in the business of bringing #mapletothemasses!
